Terms and Conditions

The services and activities of Project NexGen are intended to be enjoyed in an atmosphere of informality, mutual respect and connectedness by Jewish Australians aged between 19 and 35. The services and activities succeed through the combined efforts of participants, staff and volunteers.

By participating in our services and activities you consent to these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them and the procedures that they establish.

You participate in our services and activities at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, our services and activities are provided without any express or implied warranties.

You participate in the services and activities only for legal, authorised and proper purposes.

You commit not to infringe the rights of Project NexGen or of other participants, as other participants commit not to infringe your rights.

In particular, when communicating with Project NextGen employees, volunteers and other participants (others), and when participating in online forums and Project NexGen organised events, you commit not to:

- disrespect the privacy of others;

- misuse intellectual property of others;

- initiate or encourage inappropriate behaviour;

- abuse, harass, defame or pester others;

- misrepresent yourself or others;

- knowingly do anything that puts at risk the security of those forums and events.

 The appropriateness of behaviour will be assessed according to the particular context in which it occurs - for example, the particular social media platform or the particular type of social event or sporting activity. The standard expected is the behaviour of an ordinary reasonable person in the particular context.

With or without having received a complaint from any person, Project NexGen may, at its sole discretion, undertake a review of any participant’s conduct and communication when participating in Project NexGen services and activities.

 You may be excluded from the services and activities pending the outcome of a review.

 You, a complainant and any affected third party will be fairly treated by Project NexGen in the review process.

 Project NexGen may, at its sole discretion, modify, suspend or terminate your participation in the services and activities at the end of its review.

 Project NexGen may take such other steps against you as it considers necessary in the circumstances for the proper protection of the success and reputation of Project NexGen.

 These Terms and Conditions may be varied from time to time by Project NexGen.
