Step 1: Choose your reset style together

Step 2: What helps
Prompt:
“What helps you feel like things are back to normal?”
Each person selects up to two:
A quick check-in
Talking it through
A bit of space
An apology
A change in tone
Letting it go
Step 3: Compare
Display both people’s selections side by side.
Highlight:
Where answers are similar
Where they are different
Step 4: Choose your reset
Prompt:
“Choose one simple reset you want to use together”
Options:
“Are we okay?”
“Let’s reset for a second”
“I didn’t mean that the way it sounded”
“Did that land okay?”
